Hickory Hollow Nurseries List of Deer Resistant Plantings

May 17th, 2009 by Mike Yeager

Deer resistance is related to your level of deer pressure. The current weather conditions have a great effect. If snow is on the ground for prolonged periods of time they will browse more types of plants. Even though the below list is for deer resistant planting we still recommend chemical and fence protection during the winter months. This is not perfect, resistant does not mean deer proof! One star(*) means we usually have it in stock. Two stars (**) means we can order it in for you.
